How can I place an order?

All orders can be placed via our website or via email (we will invoice you) Quotes can be requested also via email to Thelittlelunchco@outlook.co.nz. Our friendly team are also more than happy to answer any of your questions over the phone prior to receiving your written request.

When is the cut off time? Please email or ring before you place your order to check availability 

Order for Monday, cut off is 3pm Friday

Order for Tuesday, cut off is 3pm Sunday

Order for Wednesday, cut off is 11am Monday

Order for Thursday, cut off is  11am Tuesday

Order for Friday, cut off is 11am Wednesday

If you put through an order without checking availability and we aren't available you will be refunded but the transaction cost of using the website will be taken off the refunded amount.  

Requests that are sent through after business hours will be viewed the following morning. Late orders are accepted based on availability and may not have a choice of all menu items. Late orders accepted will be subject to a 10% surcharge.

What are the delivery times?

Monday to Friday: Morning tea + Lunch 9am to 11.30am other catering 9am to 6pm

Saturday: 9am to 6pm

Sunday: Sunday orders are at our discretion, will be subject to a 15% surcharge 

All deliveries will have a 1 hour window

What is the minimum spend?

Monday to Saturday: $90 + GST per delivery. Deliveries below $90 + GST and above $50 + GST may be accepted and will incur a $15 + GST surcharge. Deliveries below minimum spends will not be accepted on Saturday.

Do you allow pick-ups?

Currently we do not offer pick-ups from our kitchen.

What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm

Our online store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Orders can be placed anytime and will be reviewed and confirmed during office hours.

Do you cater to all dietary requirements?

We can cater for most dietary requirements. When placing your order, please note the dietary needs within the text box provided at checkout and we will make our suggestions accordingly. Should we not be able to cater for a specific dietary requirement, we will let you know when confirming your order.

Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as peanuts, crustacea, molluscs, fish, milk, egg, gluten, wheat, soy, sesame, lupin, sulphites, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, walnuts. Please consider this when requesting special dietary requirements.

How do I make amendments to my order?

For any order amendments, please send your changes in writing to Thelittlelunchco@outlook.co.nz quoting the order number. Please ensure all amendment enquiries are made prior to the order cut off time.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your order, the following conditions apply:

Cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery will not be refunded.

Cancellations made outside of 48 hours but under 4 days with a value of less than $300 can receive a full refund.

Cancellations made outside of 48 hours but under 4 days with a value of more than $300 will receive a 50% refund.

Delivery and Delivery Charges We deliver to Hamilton addresses only (Within the red circle of the map of Hamilton below) Any delivery outside these areas are at our discretion and will incur an extra delivery fee. There is a delivery and pick up fee on our catering items that fee will be discussed with you upon ordering. We do not deliver to post office boxes. Products will be delivered to the work space or house designated on your order.  Please make sure the delivery address is quick and easy to find and the person there knows that it is arriving.

Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

Terms & Conditions

These are the terms and conditions on which you order with us online. Your use of this website and ordering via email or phone signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and by continuing to use this website you are deemed to have accepted those amendments.

Ordering Goods from Us: Our prices are in New Zealand Dollars. When you place an order with us you are making an offer to purchase goods. You place an order on our website by adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through the Checkout process. The Checkout process includes giving us delivery and other relevant details for your order and payment. You must complete all mandatory fields when ordering products.

Breakage/non returned equipment Fees: There is a $10 per item breakage fee for any of our serving ware that we leave with you for a function and Full replacement cost per item for any equipment that is damaged or not returned after a function. 

Once we have accepted your order you will be taken to a confirmation page with all details of your order. You will be able to print the confirmation page as proof of your purchase. You will also receive an email from us confirming that we have received your order.

Please make sure when entering your address into your account you fill it in correctly and in full.  This makes it easier for us to find you! 

If we cannot drop off your order due to you not being there and no other instructions are given and we cannot get through to you via your contact information, we will continue on our route and you won’t receive your lunch but payment will be taken.

 

The goods become your property and your responsibility once they have been delivered to the delivery address stated in your order. We recommend that you arrange for the goods to be delivered to an address where you are likely to be available to personally receive them. Any goods that are not consumed right away upon receipt should be kept in a fridge. It is your responsibility to do so.

 

We do not accept any liability for the quality or freshness of your goods where you are not available to personally accept them. Goods will not be left outside or in a mailbox unless we have made a prior agreement. In some cases, we can agree to leave your lunch in an ice packed chilly bin you have left outside your workplace if you will be out during delivery. In this case, the quality and safety of the lunch is entirely your responsibility once it is left at the prearranged location.

 

Returns We always endeavour to provide you with the freshest and best quality products available. However as our products are perishable they cannot be returned and no refunds or exchanges will be available. The only exceptions to this are if we have made a mistake in processing your order or delivering your order to you or where you are able to show that your goods were delivered and received personally by you in a spoiled condition.

If you consider that we have made a mistake in processing your order or in delivering the products to you or in the quality of personally received goods, please email us at thelittlelunchco@outlook.co.nz immediately. In any of these situations we will consider your request for a refund or exchange of goods but any such refund or exchange of goods will be entirely at our discretion. We reserve the right to offer partial refunds where one of the above situations applies to part of an order only.

 

Product Representation We have made every effort to portray the products available on the website as accurately as possible. However, from time to time there will be some variation between the photos and the actual products. We accept no liability in respect of any variations. 

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which The Little Lunch Company collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.thelittlelunchco.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Heart and Stove.

 

Personal identification information We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, place an order, including the provision of all mandatory details, fill out a form, subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number and other such information as we consider appropriate for placing your order. By ordering via the website, you can agree to subscribe to our newsletter.

 

Non-personal identification information We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilised and other similar information.

 

Web browser cookies Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. You do not necessarily need to enable your browser to accept cookies, although some parts of the site may not be available if users disable their web browsers not to accept cookies.

 

Consumer Data Policy We will not sell or otherwise provide your personal information to a third party, or make any other use of your personal information, for any purpose which is not incidental to your use of our site.
